Fruit Tree Pruning Demo 101
Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (EDT)
Do you have fruits trees or are you interested in planting some? Do you want to know more about proper fruit tree management? Join us for this hands-on workshop about fruit tree maintenance. We'll start indoors with a presentation on many common types of fruit trees and move outdoors for pruning demonstrations at the Real Food Farm orchard on apple, fig, persimmon pear, and plum trees. Led by Stanton Gill - IPM, entomology, and orchard specialist with the University of Maryland Extension.
